By Michelle Lyn, AGPCNP
PUBLISHED THURSDAY, JANUARY 1, 1970

Michelle Lyn, AGPCNP, of Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai Medical Center, addresses the workforce shortage and how implementing a multidisciplinary advanced practice nurse can help.

At Mount Sinai, a multidisciplinary advanced practice nurse was assigned to address this need. The advanced practice nurse was assigned to a specialty oncology clinic and took on patients there, taking history, assigning chemotherapy, and whatever else might be needed.
