Beth Dailey, BSN, RN, OCN, HN-BC, from Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Eastern Regional Medical Center (ERMC), discusses how suggestions from nurses helped a merged clinic staff work smarter.

After the specialty and oncology clinics merged at ERMC, the two staffs were still doing things differently. This prompted a council, which solicited suggestions, ideas, and thoughts from the nurses by asking them to consider "Why do you do the things you do?" The council reviewed the suggestions and made effective changes from them.
