Jeannine Brant, PhD, APRN, AOCN, FAAN, of Billings Clinic, discusses the Middle East Cancer Consortium and its goal of spreading current cancer care, palliative care and peace.

The Consortium has been active for 15 years now, first under Dr. Michael Silbermann, and now with the Oman Cancer Association, under Dr. Wahid Al Kharusi. Through nurse training, they involve Islamic countries across the region in current cancer care. Recently, the main project has been palliative care.
