Luke Peppone, PhD, from University of Rochester Medical Center, discusses the need for trials with medical marijuana.

There is not a large body of medical evidence regarding marijuana's efficacy, but that is because of a lack of trials. With legalization coming, this could shift. Marijuana is currently a good candidate for nausea relief and pain management for patients with cancer.
