Video

Dr. Jonathan Schoenfeld discusses the need for collaboration among teams when a patient is receiving a combination of immunotherapy and radiation treatment.

Jonathan Schoenfeld, MD, MPhil, MPH, of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, talks about the collaboration between teams for patients who are receiving combination therapies.

When it comes to a combined treatment plan of radiation and immunotherapy, both radiation and medical oncologists must be involved. Additionally, with the potential of immune-related adverse events, Schoenfeld suggests the inclusion of gastroenterologists, dermatologists, and endocrinologists.
