Meredith Buxton, PhD, University of California San Francisco, discusses the I-SPY 2 trial, for which she is the executive director.

The goal of I-SPY 2 is to test new agents, like immunotherapies, and ultimately get them to patients sooner. While it is currently only being used in the breast cancer domain, Buxton noted that hopefully other cancer types will also join in the trial.
