Family members are the backbone of the healthcare system. Family caregivers provide an estimated $450 billion in unpaid services each year. Family caregivers can suffer from a high incidence of depression, isolation, and financial hardships that result from the sacrifices made to provide the care and support that is needed. As a society, we are deeply indebted to the family caregiver. Families need helpful information on coping and keeping one's spirits in the positive zone as much as possible, as difficult as that can be at times.
I have posted articles for caregivers in the past, but more articles will be posted for caregiver support again soon..
