One of the goals of AliveAndKickn is to educate clinicians about when to test for Lynch syndrome. They should know that Lynch syndrome could cause a variety of cancers at any given time, and perhaps a patient coming in with colon cancer should not only be treated solely for the specific tumor type, but also be tested, if appropriate, for the genetic mutation.
