Marianne Davies, RN, MSN, ACNP, AOCN, Smilow Cancer Hospital, Yale School of Nursing, discusses the challenges of managing side effects from immunotherapy treatments.
Davies says many of the treatments being developed and tested are immunotherapies. These therapies bring with them a new constellation of possible side effects and symptoms that are very different than the standard chemotherapy side effects nurses are used to.
