Michael Birrer, MD, PhD, Harvard Medical School, discusses what he hopes to discover as factors that may influence long-term survival in patients and survivors of ovarian cancer.
Birrer is involved in a study examining psychosocial, quality of life, and genomic factors at diagnosis that correlate with survival lasting longer than 10 years.
