Ragini Kudchadkar, MD, from Winship Cancer Institute, explains what nurses should keep in mind when treating patients with basal cell carcinoma.

Often, patients with basal cell carcinoma will have had prior difficulties with access to care. As such, nurses should be ready to support the patients during this process, with medications, insurance, payments, and paperwork.
