Below are a list of events hosted by the National Pancreas Foundation for the month of November.
November 2 — Hackensack Pancreaticobiliary Symposium: The State of the Art

This CME/Contact hour event is being held in honor of Pancreas Cancer Awareness Month.
RNs, MDs, and others from the Northern NJ area are invited to attend. Speakers tentatively include our local talent, as well as John Chabot from Columbia, William Jarnagin from MSKCC, Michel Kahaleh from NYPH, and Martha Pittman from Mass General.
We hope to cover both benign and malignant pancreaticobiliary disease (diagnosis and management) in both adults and children.
The Program will run from 7:30 AM to 2 PM (with both breakfast and lunch provided) and take place at the John Theurer Cancer Center.
November 8 — Pancreas Fair
In collaboration with Allegheny Health Network, the NPF Western Pennsylvania Chapter is hosting a free fair for patients and their families.

Addition of Concomitant TTFields Induces OS Benefit in Unresectable Pancreatic Cancer
December 4th 2024The phase 3 PANOVA-3 trial, designed to evaluate concomitant treatment with tumor treating fields and chemotherapy, met its primary end point of overall survival in unresectable, locally advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
