The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the HER2-directed bispecific antibody zanidatamab-hrii (Ziihera) as a first-line therapy for adults with HER2-positive (IHC 3+ or IHC 2+/ISH+) unresectable locally advanced or metastatic gastric, gastroesophageal junction (GEJ), or esophageal adenocarcinoma.
