Jackie Herigodt Discusses Supporting the Caregiver of the Cancer Patient

Jackie Herigodt, cancer support specialist/outreach coordinator, Imerman Angels, discusses the importance of supporting the caregiver in addition to supporting the cancer patient.

Herigodt says the foundation focuses a lot of supporting the caregiver. The caregiver’s experience is very unique and different from the fighter.

Many people still do not realize that Imerman Angels offers support for the caregiver. Herigodt says caregivers are relieved that the foundation also helps them. Because of this, the entire family ends up benefiting.
