Paloma Pearson, manager of clinical operations, Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Medical Center, talks about how technology is changing the landscape of healthcare.

Pearson says that although there might have been a lag in the full uptake of technology in healthcare, the field is starting to pick up as things such as tele-health, tele-medicine, and electronic medical records become more common. Over the next 10 years, there will be great opportunity for technology to be used in oncology and other healthcare settings.
